Jeans were actually invented in America during the times of the Gold Rush because they were affordable, durable, and comfortable for miners. I believe Levi Strauss came up with the idea but I’m not 100% on that.

this is a pretty good song. I found this on itunes by accident and i am in love with it. It is such a good change from all this “new” music. I think that Levi’s were the first jean company.

Levi were indeed created by David Levi
and a friend in 1873. Blue jean became popular in 60′s Prior to that they were jeans for working men 100 cotton and
comfortable. Neil Diamond does this song and many other great. REAL MUSIC

Growing up in the late 70′s and early 80′s my friend’s mom played Neil Diamond all the time on her 8-Track player in her van while taking us to go swimming. Great memories.

MORNINGSIDE is one of my favorite Neil Diamond songs

How funny! The “Reverand Blue Jeans”.

  16. pigsickasham Says:

What is funny is that the song has dated, it calls back a time when Blue jeans where cheap. long before the “designer” jeans with the ludicrous price tag hit the high streets
